What Is a Real Estate ISA Company for Listing Appointments?

What Is a Real Estate ISA Company for Listing Appointments?

ISA stands for Inside Sales Agent and, in real estate, and ISA is typically deployed by agents or brokerages that:

  1. Want more appointments with qualified prospects, specifically on the listing side,

  2. Need their fresh leads called as they come in,

  3. Need their database nurtured,

  4. Need any kind of phone calls made.

A real estate ISA is a specialized sales professional who prospects for new leads, qualifies them, and sets appointments for real estate agents, acting as the bridge between lead generation and client acquisition. A unique feature of ISAs is that, in the age of digital outreach and automation, an ISA leans into the human advantage. And for agents who believe that real estate is and always will be human-forward, the advantage is staggering. The more automated real estate becomes, the more valuable a real conversation is. Cold calling isn’t outdated - it’s becoming a premium. In fact, over 25% of all seller leads generated in real estate last year were generated through cold calling.¹

So how do you deploy an ISA? Well, agents & brokers have a few options. The first and most effective option, assuming the right systems are in place, is to hire in-house. An in-house hire has a tremendous amount of leverage, specifically:

  1. Constant oversight & monitoring,

  2. Live feedback and coaching,

  3. Highly tailored approach to outreach,

  4. In-Office culture absorption.

For agents and brokers who want a high level of customization and autonomy over their outreach, an in-house ISA is miles ahead of the other options. That said, where most teams fail to effectively implement an ISA or team of ISAs is that they lack the systems and training necessary to effectively deploy someone in-house. Effective execution on an in-house ISA requires:

  1. Hiring advertisement,

  2. Interview processes,

  3. Hiring decisions,

  4. Onboarding,

  5. Training,

  6. Scripts & Systems,

  7. Coaching,

  8. Feedback

  9. …and more.

For clarity, in the right circumstances and for people with the resource of time on their side, this option is incredible. That said, most brokers and agents don’t have the luxury of spare time in the amount necessary to effectively get an ISA up and running. That brings us to the second option: outsourcing and overseas.

Obviously from a cost perspective, hiring an overseas ISA is going to be your best bet. Oftentimes, hiring an overseas ISA is going to be the most cost effective option. That said, you often give up a significant amount of control, not to mention the reputational risks you take on by hiring someone who doesn’t understand & communicate natively in the local tongue. While you might end up spending less capital upfront, the risks on the back end are significant.

So what do agents do when they want to hire an effective ISA who doesn’t cost them an arm and a leg, nor does it cost them a significant amount of time for onboarding and training? A lot of them will turn to a company like Ignite Connections. ISA companies like Ignite Connections, PowerISA, and Conversion Monster, take the hassle out of hiring, training, and onboarding an on-shore ISA while keeping investments reasonable. Each company in the space has its strengths. If you’re looking for a company to generate you new seller appointments through outbound Circle Prospecting, Ignite Connections stands alone.
